So I've been spec-hunting for a long-range BLE module for a project I'm building - basically a remote sensor node that needs to phone home over a pretty big open area, maybe a few kilometers at most. The MultiNav Pro+ BLE caught my eye obviously because of the 50km headline number, but I've been burned before by range specs that were basically measured in a vacuum chamber on a clear day with the antenna pointed at the moon or whatever. Curious if anyone here has actually deployed these in a real environment and what kind of distances they're actually hitting.
