MultiNav Pro+ BLE at 50km - what's the real usable range in a suburban environment?

Hey everyone, working on a project where I need to push BLE data between two fixed nodes maybe 2-3km apart in a suburban area - houses, some trees, occasional small buildings in between. Not dense urban, but definitely not open field either. I'm looking at the MultiNav Pro+ BLE module for this and the 50km spec is obviously way more than I need on paper, but I'm trying to figure out what "real" range looks like once you factor in obstacles and RF noise from wifi/other BLE devices in the area.

@Susan Hernandez yeah 2-3km in suburban is honestly pretty comfortable for this module — that's well within the ground-to-ground spec of 5km which is already measured with real-world obstructions in mind, not in an anechoic chamber. The 50km figure is drone-to-drone where you've eliminated ground reflections and obstacles entirely, so don't use that as your reference point for your use case.
 
The bigger variable in your setup is going to be antenna placement and height more than the RF noise from WiFi/BLE neighbors. The module handles receiver sensitivity really well, and suburban 2.4GHz congestion is annoying but not a dealbreaker at this range — the main thing that'll hurt you is if both nodes are sitting at ground level with houses directly in the path. Even getting them up a meter or two on a pole or rooftop mount makes a significant difference. If you can get line-of-sight or near-line-of-sight at any height, 2-3km is going to feel effortless.
