MultiNav Pro+ BLE - does the RF front-end need any external matching components?

Been working on integrating the MultiNav Pro+ BLE module into a custom PCB and I'm trying to figure out how much of the RF front-end is handled internally vs what I need to add on my side. The 50km range claim obviously implies some serious RF engineering going on in there, so I'm wondering if the module expects me to add any external matching network, balun, or filter components between the module output and my antenna, or if all that is already baked in and I can basically just route straight to the antenna connector.

@David Brown good question, and honestly one of the more important ones to nail down before you commit your layout.
 
The MultiNav Pro+ is designed as a complete RF front-end — the amplifiers, receiver sensitivity optimization, and matching are all handled internally, so you shouldn't need to add external matching or balun components between the module and your antenna. That's kind of the whole point of it being a finished module rather than a bare chipset.
 
That said, what *does* matter a lot on your side is keeping the transmission line to your antenna connector clean — controlled impedance trace (50 ohm), minimal vias, and enough ground plane clearance. The module can do its job perfectly and you can still kill performance with a sloppy PCB layout between the RF output and the antenna, especially at 2.4 GHz where even a couple millimeters of unmatched trace starts to matter.
