@Robert Thomas good question, and I get why the 1.5m figure stands out — it's genuinely solid for the price, especially combined with that 18Hz fix rate which is where it really shines for fast-moving platforms like yours.
To be straight with you: the 1.5m is achieved through standard GNSS processing — multi-constellation is part of what gets it there, but there's no RTK pipeline built in, so you can't feed RTCM corrections to push it further. The 1.5m is essentially the floor as the module stands today.
For a UAV tracking and logging use case though, I'd honestly think hard about whether you actually need sub-meter before chasing RTK. The 18Hz update rate is the bigger win for dynamic platforms — you're getting smooth, high-resolution position data that most modules at double the price can't match on fix rate alone, and for trajectory logging that matters a lot more than squeezing from 1.5m to 0.3m CEP in most real-world flight scenarios.
That said, if centimeter-level accuracy is a hard requirement for your application, worth flagging that to Moamen directly — there's active product development happening and it's the kind of feedback that actually shapes the roadmap here.
